Refund policy

All items returned to Aperture Direct require a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) issued by Aperture Pet & Life before the product is shipped or returned to our facility.

Returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase.

To request an RMA number and return instructions, please contact us directly:

Return Address

Unless otherwise instructed by Aperture Direct, authorized returns should be sent to:

Aperture Pet & Life
2675 Commerce Center Blvd
Bethlehem, PA 18015

The RMA number must be clearly included with the return shipment.

Returned products must include all original product packaging, manuals, accessories, components, and other materials originally supplied with the product.

Returns sent without an RMA or to a location other than the location specified in the return instructions may be delayed or refused.

Return Requirements

Unless otherwise approved by Aperture Direct:

  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase.

  • Returned products must be in new and unused condition.

  • All original packaging, manuals, accessories, components, and product materials must be included.

  • Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable.

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to an error by Aperture Direct, a qualifying shipping-damage claim, or an approved defective-product claim.

  • Return shipping charges and other applicable fees may be deducted from the customer's refund.

  • Products should remain in their original packaging until the customer has inspected them and confirmed that they are acceptable.

Certain products, special orders, clearance items, closeouts, or other products specifically designated as non-returnable may not be eligible for return.

LTL & Freight Shipments

All products shipped by LTL or freight are final sale and are not eligible for return.

This includes orders shipped using FedEx LTL or other freight services.

This restriction does not limit a customer's ability to report qualifying shipping damage, shortages, or manufacturer defects as described below.

FOB Will Call & FOB Collect Orders

Orders received through FOB Will Call or FOB Collect should be inspected at the time of pickup whenever practical.

Customers or their designated freight carriers should note any visible shortage or damage on the applicable pickup or shipping documentation before taking possession of the shipment.

Products transported by the customer's designated freight carrier under FOB Collect remain subject to the applicable freight and shipping terms.

Shipping Damage

Please inspect all shipments promptly upon delivery or pickup.

Visible damage, shortages, or other shipping discrepancies should be documented at the time the shipment is received whenever possible.

For freight shipments, visible damage or shortages should be noted on the carrier's delivery documentation before the shipment is accepted.

Shipping damage must be reported to Aperture Direct within 3 business days of delivery.

Please retain the damaged product, shipping carton, pallet, packaging materials, and any other materials associated with the shipment until Aperture Direct provides further instructions. Photographs or other documentation of the damage may be requested.

For qualifying shipping-damage claims, Aperture Direct will work with the customer and carrier to determine the appropriate resolution.

Manufacturer Defects & Warranties

If a product arrives non-functional due to a manufacturer defect, please contact Aperture Direct.

Products determined to have a qualifying manufacturer defect may be eligible for replacement with the same product within 30 days of purchase, subject to product availability and confirmation of the defect.

For products outside the initial 30-day period but still covered by a manufacturer's warranty, Aperture Direct will assist customers in identifying the appropriate warranty process or manufacturer contact.

Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, and remedies vary by product and manufacturer and remain subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms.

Aperture Pet & Life Brand Products

If an Aperture Pet & Life brand product does not function correctly or ceases to operate within its applicable warranty period, please contact Aperture Direct for support and warranty instructions.

Warranty coverage and available remedies may vary by brand and product.

Warranty Testing

Products submitted for warranty evaluation may be inspected or tested by Aperture Pet & Life or the applicable manufacturer.

If a product submitted as defective is determined to be functioning properly or is not covered under the applicable warranty, the product may be returned to the customer and the customer may be responsible for associated shipping, testing, or handling charges where applicable.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued after the returned product has been received and inspected.

Original shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable unless otherwise determined by Aperture Direct.

Applicable return shipping charges or other authorized costs may be deducted from the amount refunded.
