Axis 20 Centrifugal Pump (185 GPH)

Description

The AquaIllumination Axis 20 is a compact controllable centrifugal pump designed for return-pump applications on aquariums up to approximately 15 gallons. It delivers flow up to approximately 185 gallons per hour with a maximum head pressure of approximately 5 feet.

The Axis 20 uses a quiet DC motor and includes wireless smart-device control, output calibration and programmable operation. It can be configured through the Mobius app and is also compatible with the myAI app and Neptune Systems Apex through an optional MXM module.

Calibration and Back-Siphon Prevention

The Axis 20 can be calibrated to establish minimum and maximum operating flow levels for a specific aquarium. Once calibrated, the pump can continue running without producing flow instead of shutting off completely, helping prevent back-siphoning and reducing the chance of air entering the plumbing when normal operation resumes.

Control and Compatibility

The Axis 20 includes integrated smart control and can be configured and programmed through the Mobius app on a compatible iOS or Android device. It is also compatible with the myAI app.

The Axis 20 can be controlled through Neptune Systems Apex and Apex Fusion using a separately purchased MXM module and compatible Apex controller.

Plumbing Compatibility

The Axis 20 includes barbed connection options for 0.5-inch / 12 mm and 0.625-inch / 16 mm tubing, allowing it to be used with different aquarium plumbing configurations.

Its compact form factor and adjustable flow also make the Axis 20 suitable for feeding media reactors and other auxiliary filtration equipment where sump space is limited and precise flow control is useful.
