Description

The AquaIllumination Prime 16 HD Reef is a compact, fully programmable LED light designed for reef aquariums. Its reef-focused spectrum combines white, blue, royal blue, violet, UV, red, and green channels to support coral growth and coloration while allowing the overall appearance of the aquarium to be adjusted to preference.

HD Power dynamically redistributes available power between color channels, while built-in wireless control allows programming through the Mobius or myAI app. A dedicated moonlight channel is also included for nighttime viewing and lunar-style lighting.

Prime 16 HD Reef Spectrum

The Prime 16 HD Reef uses eight independently controllable LED channels covering white, blue, royal blue, red, green, violet, UV, and moonlight output. HD Power allows unused power from one color channel to be made available to others, providing additional flexibility when creating a custom spectrum.

Optics and Light Spread

The Prime 16 HD uses TIR lenses designed to balance intensity and spread while improving color blending. AquaIllumination rates the fixture for a 24" x 24" spread, with approximately 100 uMol PAR at a depth of 24 inches under its stated test conditions.
