Description
The Neptune Systems Trident ACM is an automated water tester for alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium in saltwater aquariums. It connects to a compatible Apex controller and automatically sends test results to Apex Fusion, where parameters can be monitored, graphed, and used to trigger alerts or other programmed actions.
The Trident uses automated titration with colorimetric measurement to provide consistent testing without manual test kits or probe calibration. Testing frequency can be configured for up to 24 tests per day, providing detailed insight into parameter trends and consumption.

Automatic Testing & Apex Integration
The Trident automatically draws a water sample, performs each test, and sends the results to Apex Fusion. Regular testing makes it easier to identify changes in alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium over time and respond before larger parameter swings develop.
When paired with a compatible DOS dosing pump, Trident results can also be used with Automatic Dosing Control to gradually adjust additive dosing based on measured parameter changes.
