Description
The EcoTech Marine Radion XR15 G5 & G6 Diffuser is designed to improve light blending and reduce shadows from Radion XR15 G5 and G6 fixtures. The diffuser spreads intensity more evenly across the aquarium while also improving color blending of the individual LED channels.
The G5/G6 diffuser uses an integrated magnetic mounting system, allowing it to attach without tools and be removed easily for cleaning. Overall light output is reduced by approximately 20% when the diffuser is installed.

Light Distribution and Blending
The diffuser reduces peak PAR while distributing light more evenly across the illuminated area. Overall light loss is approximately 20%, with the tradeoff being improved diffusion into lower-light areas and reduced concentrated hotspots.
The diffuser also improves spectrum blending by combining the output from the individual LED channels into a more cohesive light source.
Shimmer
The XR15 Diffuser reduces the pronounced shimmer and color-separation effect commonly associated with multi-channel LED fixtures, producing a softer and more uniform appearance in the aquarium.
Installation
The G5/G6 diffuser uses integrated magnets for attachment, so no tools are required for normal installation or removal. The magnetic design also allows the diffuser lens to be removed easily for routine cleaning.
Note: Due to the required adapter plate, the G5/G6 Diffuser is not compatible with previous Radion generations.
