The EcoTech Marine Radion XR30 G6 Blue is a programmable LED light fixture designed for reef aquariums requiring a blue-focused spectrum. It features a full-spectrum LED configuration favoring blue channels and has a maximum power consumption of 215 watts.

The G6 Blue LED configuration emphasizes blue and ultraviolet wavelengths while retaining white and red channels for spectrum adjustment. Its HEI2 optical system provides a 126.3-degree output angle for wide coverage, even PAR distribution and improved color mixing.

G6 Blue Spectrum

The XR30 G6 Blue uses a diode mix that favors blue and ultraviolet wavelengths. The inclusion of 395nm, 405nm, 415nm and 430nm LEDs provides additional control within the ultraviolet and blue portions of the spectrum.

Royal Blue and Blue LEDs make up the majority of the fixture's output, while Cool White, Warm White and Red channels provide additional spectrum and visual color balancing.

HEI2 Optical System

The Hybrid Hemispherically Edge Illuminating optical system combines the fixture's LED placement with primary and secondary optics to produce a 126.3-degree output angle.

The wide-angle optical design is intended to provide broad coverage, even PAR distribution and consistent color mixing across the illuminated area.

Installation and Compatibility

The XR30 G6 Blue is compatible with the EcoTech Marine Single Arm RMS and Multi-Light RMS mounting systems. The Multi-Light RMS supports rimmed, rimless and euro-braced aquariums and allows horizontal and rotational fixture adjustment.

The XR30 G6 Blue can be controlled through Neptune Systems Apex and Apex Fusion using a separately purchased MXM module. The MXM requires a compatible Apex system.

An optional Radion Diffuser is available to improve color mixing and produce more uniform caustics with minimal reduction in PAR output.

An optional High Intensity Lens Kit is also available. The narrow-angle lens provides an approximately 80-degree beam angle and increased peak intensity in exchange for reduced spread.
