Description
The Neptune Systems Trident NP is an automated water tester for nitrate and phosphate in saltwater aquariums. It connects to a compatible Apex controller and automatically sends test results to Apex Fusion, where parameters can be monitored, graphed, and used to trigger alerts or other programmed actions.
The Trident NP uses automated testing with colorimetric identification to provide consistent nitrate and phosphate measurements without manual test kits. By default, the system performs one automatic test per day, with additional tests available when initiated manually.

Automatic Testing & Apex Integration
The Trident NP automatically draws a water sample, performs nitrate and phosphate testing, and sends the results to Apex Fusion. Regular testing makes it easier to identify nutrient trends over time and respond to changes in feeding, filtration, livestock load, or other aquarium conditions.
Test results can also be used within the Apex ecosystem to create alerts and automate compatible equipment or other programmed actions based on nitrate and phosphate levels.
