Vectra S2 - Mobius Ready DC Return Pump (1400 GPH) - EcoTech Marine

Description

The EcoTech Marine Vectra S2 is a controllable DC centrifugal pump designed for aquarium return and closed-loop applications. It delivers adjustable flow up to 1,400 gallons per hour and can be installed either submerged in a sump or externally in an inline configuration.

The included wireless functionality allows the pump to be configured and managed through the Mobius app on compatible iOS and Android devices. The S2 can also be operated directly from the included QuietDrive controller.

Return Pump Modes

When configured as a return pump, the Vectra S2 can be calibrated to the aquarium's plumbing system. Calibration establishes the operating flow range and provides a neutral-flow setting for Feed Mode.

Constant Speed Mode maintains the selected pump output during normal operation. Speed Lock can be used to disable the controller dial and reduce the chance of accidental flow adjustments.

Closed-Loop Modes

The Vectra S2 can also be used as a closed-loop circulation pump. Available closed-loop modes vary the pump output to create random, pulsing or alternating water movement without requiring an additional in-tank circulation pump.

Installation and Compatibility

The pump includes input and output QuickCouple fittings for connection to standard aquarium plumbing. The volute can be rotated to accommodate different plumbing layouts and equipment-space requirements.

The Vectra S2 can be operated as either:

• A submerged pump installed inside a sump
• An external inline pump
• A primary aquarium return pump
• A closed-loop circulation pump

Wireless programming requires the Mobius app and a compatible mobile device. Apex Fusion control requires a separately purchased Neptune Systems MXM module.

For battery-powered operation, an EcoTech Marine Battery Backup and Vectra Battery Backup Booster is required, sold separately.
